Concrete Night has been nominated in 10 different categories for the Jussi Awards. Concrete Night was nominated for best film, director (Pirjo Honkasalo), screenwriting (Pirjo Honkasalo, Pirkko Saisio), cinematography (Peter Flinckenberg), editing (Niels Pagh Andersen), production design (Pentti Valkeasuo), sound design (Jan Alvermark), costume design (Saija Siekkinen), supporting actress (Anneli Karppinen) and supporting actor (Jari Virman).
Awarding the best Finnish films of the year, The Jussi Awards are given out by the film professionals’ society Filmiaura. The winners will be announced in the Jussi awards gala on February 2nd.
