Saara Saarela’s dystopic drama Memory of Water, based on the best selling novel by Emmi Itäranta, will have its international premiere at Hof International Film Festival in Germany later this month.
From there the film will travel to Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, where it will compete from the festival’s Asteroid award in the Main Competition as well from the festival’s Audience Award.
Memory of Water will also have a cinema release in both Germany and Italy. Locally in Finland the film opened in cinemas in early September this year.
