The lead actor of Void, Tommi Korpela, has been awarded with best actor prize at Moscow Film Festival. In the comedy-drama directed by Aleksi Salmenperä, Korpela plays a writer whose career is in a downward spiral, and who ends up resorting to unusual and even desperate measures in order to get his career going again.
Void received its international premiere in the festival’s main competition program. Festival’s International Jury was lead by internationally renowned South Korean director Kim Ki-duk.
Earlier this year the film was awarded with four Jussi prizes: best film, director, sound design and editing.
